Ankylosauridae

Ankylosaurids lived from 122 to 66 million years ago and have been found in North American, Europe, and Asia.

The earliest Ankylosaurids (like the Nodosaurs) had nothing on the ends of their tails. Later species like Euoplocephalus developed a bony tail club. The bony club at the end of the stiff tail are known as the knob and handle.

All were heavily armoured, some even had armoured eyelids!
